Wet Mixer
Mass Mixer
The Mass Mixer Machine is basically mixing a assembly wherein the mixing stirrer is in horizontal position in the container & have a single speed, simple rotation. The stirrer rotates around it self at a very slow speed inside the bowl and thereby achieving intimate mixing of dry or wet materials of Tablet Granulation, Powder, Chemicals, Food & Confectionaries Materials. Because of a special design feature of machine & stirrer, the mass mixer can be mix the sticky materials & also uniformally and intimately mix the materials which are to be difficult to mix.

RIBBON BLENDER

Ribbon Blender comprises of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a specially designed Double Helical Ribbon Agitator rotating within. Ribbon Blenders are based on a proven agitator construction that provides a triple mixing action ensuring fast, efficient blending. The dimensions and configuration of the ribbons are carefully balanced to provide a movement of material within the container that avoids dead spots and gives rapid product discharge.

An alternate design is the paddle agitator. The paddles are positioned to move the material in opposing lateral directions as well as radially. The paddle design is generally employed where friable materials are being blended, and when batches as small as 15% of the total capacity are going to be mixed in the blender.

Design Highlights

  • The outer ribbon displaces the material from the ends to the center while the inner ribbon moves the material from the center to the ends. This counter-current action results in homogenous blending
  • The ribbons rotate at approximately 70 - 100 meters per minute and move the material both radially and laterally to ensurethorough blends in short cycle times
  • Triple Mixing Action - The Key to Fast, Efficient Blending
  • As the agitator rotates, the material is tumbled and carried radially around the inside of the blender
  • The pitch of the outer ribbon moves the material toward the discharge opening
  • The inner ribbon which has an opposing pitch moves the material away from the discharge opening

Planetary Mixer

Planetary Mixer : This equipment is basically a mixing assembly where the agitation pattern is of the planetary nature The beater or the agitation assembly rotate around itself as well as travel in a circle in the bowl thereby achieving intimate mixing. Because of special design feature of shifting the mass is uniformly and intimately mixed.

The planetary mixer unit consists of Bowl SS Cylindrical bowl with torrispherical dished bottom with inside surface polished to smooth finish. MS Jacket on cylindrical and torrispherical area to operated on 3 Kg / cm sq. Steam pressure Complete with steam inlet and cold water inlet and outlet connections with standard fitting like pressure gauge, vent cock, release valve and drain. Bowl also suitable for vacuum application and fitted with 3 nos. Of castor wheel, two fixed and one swivel type. Suitable locking lugs for fixing bowl to the machine.

Top Dish : SS top dish for covering the bowl with SS flange having groove for fixing the sealing gasket. Necessary connection with serrated nozzle provided for connecting flexible pipe for vacuum application Light and sight glasses suitably provided.

Agitator Assembly

Drive Mechanism For Beater

Consist of the following

  1. Suitable HP 1440/2880 RPM DUAL Sped TEFC Motor to work on 415 V, 50 c/s 3 Phase AC supply line, mounted on MS plate.
  2. Worm reduction gear box coupled to the motor through belt and pulley arrangement.
  3. Epicyclic gear box coupled to the motor through belt and EPICYCLIC gear train arrangement to achieve planetary motion.
  4. Suitable HP 1440 RPM TEFC motor to work on 415V 3 phase 50 C/s AC supply line for High Shear Emulsifier. ( optional )
  5. The above item are assembled on the top plate which is supported on a Cast iron sliding sleeve with MS gussets.

Main Body : MS column with flange mounted on stool base 2 nos limit switches provided at upper and lower limits of the column to control traverse of the sleeve.

Lifting Arrangement Of The Drive Assembly (Mechanical) : Consist of

  • Suitable HP, 1440 RPM motor working on 415V 50 c/s 3 Phase AC supply line.
  • Worm reduction gear box coupled to the motor through belt and pulley arrangement.
  • MS STOOL for mounting the reduction gear unit.
  • Lead screw and guide bar to guide up and down traverse of the drive assembly.

Lifting Arrangement Hydraulic (Optional)

  • Horse shoe base with suitable gun metal bush housing for 3nos chrome plated guide bars with suitable retaining plate and supports.
  • Hydraulic Power pack assembly complete with MS. Tank, suitable HP pump with filter connected to suitable solenoid valve arrangement with control and check valve for preventing dropage of pressurized fluid.
  • Power Pack connected with fixed / flexible high pressure inter connecting hose to hydraulic cylinder of suitable lift clamped to the drive head to give smooth up and down traverse.
  • Limit switch for controlling up and down traverse motion.
  • Control Panel.
  • Air break DOL dual speed starter with DOL relay for main motor.
  • HRC back up fuses.
  • Ammeters for main motor and lift motor.
  • Push Button actuator for above operation fitted on control panel.
  • The circuit consist of mcbs, relays and contactors is series. Ample overload protection is provided by The MCBs and the relay.
  • Wires coming out of the connections are numbered for easy recognition.

Finish All SS parts polished to smooth pharmaceutical finish. All MS part painted to smooth finish

Rapid Mixer Granulator

Our Rapid Mixer Granulator is designed to achieve excellent mixing and consistent granules at lower operating cost along with higher productivity. Salient Features

  • All contact parts are made out of S.S.316 as per GMP standard.
  • Three blades Design for efficient mixing with a high speed granulator (chopper) is inserted horizontally through the wall of the bowl to assist blending of powder and to break the product to granules of required size.
  • Platform is SS 304 which is dimpled for anti slip property entire stand is also  cladded by SS 304 to make the machine total GMP.
  • Chopper housing is entirely made from SS 304 having air purging and special seals. Discharge piston has face sealing matching the vessel interior.
  • Two stage housing for main impeller eliminating totally any chance of cross contamination between bearing grease and product mix.

Safety

  • Proximity switches are provided on main lid and discharge valve interlocked with central control system for safe operation.

  • Location of the FBD bowl at discharges i.e. FBD bowl touch the proximity sensor then discharge will open.

  • Elicon Rapid Mixer Granulator comes along with all documentation like DQ, IQ,OQ and FAT as a part of standard procedure.
